All of the testimonials below are genuine client reviews. You can verify them and find many more on my Facebook page Czech Translator.
FAQ
How much do your translations cost?
The cost of translation depends on several factors, including word count, the complexity of your text (for example, medical records can be highly specialised), and whether you require a certified or general translation. Official documents such as birth certificates, diplomas, or criminal record checks are charged on a per‑document basis. Please see the Prices page for more details, or contact me directly for a personalised quote.
How long does a translation take?
Standard turnaround is usually 2–3 working days, depending on length, complexity and my availability. Urgent or same‑day translations may be available on request.
How do you deliver the finished translation?
Certified translations are provided as signed and stamped hard copies by post, and digital scans can be sent by email/WhatsApp/Messenger. General translations are usually delivered electronically in .pdf or .doc format.
Do I need to post original documents to you?
No. Simply send me photos of the documents by email, WhatsApp or Messenger. There is no need to post the originals to me. You will find my contact details on the Contact page.
What is the difference between certified and general translation?
Certified translations come with my signature, stamp, and translator’s statement of truth, making them valid for official purposes in the UK and abroad. General translations are suitable for everyday personal or business purposes where certification is not required.
Are your translations officially accepted in the UK?
Yes, my certified translations are recognised and accepted by HM Passport Office, UK Visa and Immigration, UK ENIC, courts, register offices, hospitals, employers, colleges, universities, and other major UK and international institutions.
Does the Czech Embassy recognise your translations?
Yes. I regularly translate British birth, marriage and death certificates, apostilles, naturalisation certificates and other documents for the Czech Embassy in London and the General Consulate in Manchester.
